Rechargeable Heated Knit Beanie

A regular beanie only holds the heat your head is already losing, which is not much on a job site at dawn. This ribbed cotton knit hides heating elements that wrap the crown and ears, run off a 7.4V pack in a hidden pocket and cycle through three settings from a single button. Low runs 100 to 113°F, medium 113 to 122°F and high 122 to 140°F, and the pack is rated 7000mAh for up to 7 hours. The elements and the battery both come out, so the hat itself goes in the wash.

Note: Please read before first use. Never wear this hat while sleeping or dozing, including in a car or a chair. High runs up to 140°F, which is hot enough to burn skin over time, so if it feels hot rather than warm, switch it off and take it off. Anyone with diabetes, nerve damage or any reduced feeling in the scalp or ears should use the low setting only and check their skin regularly, since a low temperature burn can happen without pain. Not for children. Always remove the battery pack and the connector before washing, and never submerge the pack. Charge it on a hard surface such as a table, never on a bed, a sofa or under a pillow, and stop using it if the pack swells, smells or gets hot while charging. The printed 7 hour figure does not say which setting it refers to, and high will run it down faster.
